Complete these steps to uninstall a Lenovo XClarity Administrator virtual appliance or container.
Procedure
To uninstall the XClarity Administrator virtual appliance, complete the following steps.
- Unmanage all devices that are currently managed by XClarity Administrator (see Managing chassis, Managing servers, and Managing switches).
- Uninstall XClarity Administrator, depending on the operating system:
Docker-compose
Run the following command
to stop the container and remove the networks and volumes.
docker-compose down –v
CentOS, Red Hat, Rocky, and Ubuntu
Connect to the host using the Virtual Machine Manager.
Right-click the virtual machine, and click .
Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete. The Delete confirmation dialog
box is displayed.
Select all check boxes, and click Delete.
ESXi
- Connect to the host through the VMware vSphere Client.
- Right-click the virtual machine, and click .
- Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete
from Disk.
Hyper-V
- From the Server Manager Dashboard, click Hyper-V.
- Right-click the server, and click Hyper-V Manager.
- Right-click the virtual machine, and click Shut down.
- Right-click the virtual machine again, and click Delete.
