Monitoring the BladeCenter chassis health

The following procedure describes how to monitor the health of the BladeCenter chassis and chassis modules.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Operations Manager console.
2. In the left navigation pane, click Monitoring > Lenovo Hardware > BladeCenter Chassis and Modules.
3. To view the overall status of the BladeCenter chassis, select the BladeCenter Chassis view.
4. To view the critical or warning alerts associated with the hardware, click Active Alerts. To learn more about the alerts, refer to Using Health Explorer to view and resolve problems.
5. To view the chassis module information, click Hardware Components, and select the chassis module that you want to check.

   The views in the Hardware Components subfolder include:

   • Blade servers

   • Chassis

   • Cooling Modules

   • I/O Modules

   • Advanced Management Modules (AMM)

   • Media Modules

   • Power Modules

   • Storage Modules
