Software requirements

This topic lists the software requirements of the management server.

  • Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5

  • Microsoft .NET Framework v4.5 or later versions

  • PowerShell 3.0 or later versions

  • Chrome: 114.0.5735.134 or later versions (Recommended)

  • Firefox: 114.0.2 or later versions (Recommended)

  • Edge: 114.0.1823.51 or later versions (Recommended)

  • To use the SQL server database as the database in XClarity Integrator Service, ensure that the SQL server meets the following requirements:

    • Version: SQL server 2008 R2 SP3 or later version

    • Authentication mode: SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode

    • Disk size: 10 GB free size for 100 managed servers, 30 GB free size for 500 managed servers

    • CPU and memory: Four-core 2.66 GHz processors and 16 GB memory are recommended.

    Note
    To connect to a remote SQL server, install the SQL feature Client Tools Connectivity on the local server where the XClarity Integrator Service is to be installed. Otherwise, an error message is displayed, indicating that this feature is not installed. This feature is available in the Feature Selection step of the SQL server setup wizard.
  • To use the PostgreSQL database as the database in XClarity Integrator Service, ensure that the PostgreSQL server meets the following requirements:

    • Version: 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, 9.6, 10.6, or 11.1

    • Disk size: 10 GB free size for 100 managed servers, 30 GB free size for 500 managed servers

    • CPU and memory: Four-core 2.66 GHz processors and 16 GB memory are recommended.
