Uninstalling Lenovo XClarity Integrator for VMware vCenter

Procedure

Complete these steps to uninstall Lenovo XClarity Integrator for VMware vCenter.

1. Log in to the Lenovo XClarity Integrator appliance administration page.

2. Create a backup of the appliance.

3. Deregister the plug-in from the vCenter. For more information, see Configuring vCenter connections.

4. Turn off the appliance from the vSphere Client and delete it from the inventory.

5. Stop the vSphere Client service.

6. From the vCenter server, remove the com.lenovo.lxci-*.* directory under /etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity/.

   Note

   Depending on the vCenter server version, the /etc/vmware path might vary.

7. Start the vSphere Client service.
