Drive security key mismatch

The security key used by the Drive Security feature is not consistent between the storage array's controllers. This problem occurs when a controller replacement has occurred and the storage array is unable to correct the inconsistency between the controllers.

Important
As the storage array is unable to determine the correct security key, any drives that are part of a security enabled pool or volume group will be locked as a result of this problem.

Recovery Steps​

  1. Change the storage array's security key.

    1. Go to Settings > System.

    2. Select the Change Key link located in the Security key management section and change the storage array's security key.

  2. Select Recheck to ensure the problem has been resolved.
