Volumes degraded in volume group or pool – noncritical drive error

A noncritical drive error has been detected in a volume group or disk pool.

Important:
  • The data on the volumes is still accessible; however, data may be lost if another drive in the same volume group or pool fails.

  • No action is required at this time; this issue will resolve itself.

  • If the drive is in a Dynamic Disk Pool, the drive will return back to an optimal state when all volumes in the disk pool are optimal.

Recovery Steps

  1. The affected drive will automatically reconstruct and does not require replacement. You can monitor the progress of the reconstruction in the Operations in progress page.

    1. Go to Home.

    2. Select the Show operations in progress link.

  2. Select Recheck to ensure the problem has been resolved.
