What's new in version 2.3.0

Lenovo XClarity Administrator management software version 2.3.0 supports new hardware, software enhancements, and fixes.

Additional hardware support

This version supports the following new hardware:
  • Top of rack switches

    • ThinkSystem NE0152T RackSwitch (7Y81)

Software enhancements

This version supports the following enhancements to the management software.
Function Description
Service and support You can use Call Home to manually report problems with XClarity Administrator (see Reporting XClarity Administrator problems).

Service requests are no longer routed directly to IBM. When Call Home is enabled, service requests are first routed to the Lenovo Support, and then forwarded to IBM, if appropriate for certain devices (see Updating the XClarity Administrator management server and Setting up automatic problem notification to Lenovo Support (Call Home)).

Users in the People's Republic of China can use Call Home to automatically report problems to Lenovo Support (see Setting up automatic problem notification to Lenovo Support (Call Home)).

Converged HX appliances and ThinkAgile HX, MX, and VX appliances can be configured to automatically report problems to Lenovo Support using Call Home (see Setting up automatic problem notification to Lenovo Support (Call Home)).
