What's new in version 2.6.0

Lenovo XClarity Administrator management software version 2.6.0 supports new hardware, software enhancements, and fixes.

Additional hardware support

This version supports the following new hardware:

    • ThinkSystem SR850P (7D2H)

Software enhancements

This version supports the following enhancements to the management software.
Function Description
Planning You can install XClarity Administrator on VMware ESXi 6.7 U3 and Red Hat v7.7 with KVM v1.2.17 installed (see Supported host systems).
Device and inventory management You can find information about onboard PCI adapters on the server inventory pages (see Viewing the details of a managed server).

You can specify a range of IPv4 addresses as criteria for dynamic groups (see Creating a dynamic resource group).

You can enable XClarity Administrator to automatically unmanage devices (including Flex chassis, Lenovo FlexSystem servers, Lenovo System x servers, ThinkAgile, and ThinkSystem servers) that are offline for a specific amount of time (see Unmanaging a chassis and Unmanaging a rack or tower server).

Device configuration You can choose full or partial deployment when reactivating a server profile (see Activating a server profile).
Operating system deployment You can deploy the following operating systems to managed servers (see Supported operating systems).
