Restore-LXCASwitchConfig

This cmdlet restores configuration data for a RackSwitch or Flex System switch. The switch configuration-data file is downloaded from Lenovo XClarity Administrator to the target switch, and the configuration takes effect automatically.

Note: You can pipe OSImage objects to this cmdlet.

Syntax

Restore-LXCASwitchConfig [-Connection LXCAConnection] 
                          -FileName String 
                          -Uuid String
                         [CommonParameter]

Parameters

-Connection LXCAConnection
Specifies the connection to the Lenovo XClarity Administrator server. If no connection is specified, the result from the last Connect-LXCA cmdlet is used.
-FileName String
Specifies the name of the configuration-data file to restore on the specified switch.
-Uuid String
Specifies the UUID of the switch to be restored. To obtain the switch UUIDs, use the Get-LXCARackSwitch or Get-LXCAChassisMember method.
CommonParameters
This cmdlet supports the following common parameters: -Verbose, -Debug, -ErrorAction, -ErrorVariable, -WarningAction, -WarningVariable, -OutBuffer, -PipelineVariable, -OutVariable. For detailed information about each common parameter, see the Microsoft PowerShell Common Parameters webpage.

Results

This cmdlets removes the configuration-data file from XClarity Administrator. No objects are returned.

Examples

The following example restores configuration data on a specific switch using a compatible configuration-data file.

$cred = Get-Credential
Connect-LXCA -Host 192.0.2.0 -Credential $cred

Restore-LXCASwitchConfig -UUID AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA -FileName Switch1.cfg
