This component includes the Management Pack and other supported tools, and it should be installed on every SCOM server and every SCOM console you plan to work on.

      Note
Lenovo Hardware Management Pack and SCOM should be installed on the same server.
    • Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service

Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service is included in this component. It can be installed on the SCOM server or on a separated Windows operating system.
      Note
Only one XClarity Integrator Service instance is needed in a management group.

      Note
      • Before installing XClarity Integrator Service, ensure that you enable Windows authentication and SQL server authentication on the SQL server.

Login credentials of the new account are saved in the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service configuration file.

Otherwise, an error message is displayed, indicating that this feature is not installed. This feature is available in the Feature Selection step of the SQL server setup wizard.
