Analyzing firmware

The Analytics panel contains report cards that shows analytics about firmware.

To display the firmware reports, click Analytics (Analytics icon) > Predefined Analytics, and then click Firmware Analytics to display the related analytics cards.

Firmware Analytics​

This report card includes a bar graph that shows the number of firmware that is installed on managed devices based on the firmware category and age.

Firmware is grouped into the following categories.
  • Management controller
  • System tools
  • UEFI

Firmware ages are grouped into the following intervals

  • Under 6 months
  • 6 – 12 months
  • 1 – 2 years
  • Over 2 years

You can filter the devices that are the included in the report by using the Filters input fields. You can also save filtered queries that you want to use regularly.

You can show or hide the Devices card by clicking the Show/Hide Devices toggle. The Devices card lists the firmware types and ages for all devices that are included in the graph.
