FunctionDescription
Planning and installationA minimum of 301 GB of total storage space is required for the virtual appliance (see Supported hardware and software – XClarity Orchestrator ).

The updates feature requires a dedicated disk with a minimum of 50 GB storage (see Setting up XClarity Orchestrator on a local system and Updating XClarity Orchestrator).

AdministrationYou can manage Lenovo XClarity Administrator resource managers using an IPv6 address (see Connecting resource managers).

You can modify resource manager properties and credentials (see Connecting resource managers).

You can manage Schneider Electric EcoStruxure IT Expert instances as resource managers (see Connecting resource managers).

AuthenticationYou can modify the amount of time, in hours, that a user session can be open before the session expires and you are automatically logged out, regardless of user activity (see Configuring user security settings).

By default, if you have not interacted with the user interface for 30 minutes, your read/write session expires, and you are prompted for a password the next time you attempt to modify data. You may continue to perform read-only operations in the user interface without logging in again if the read only timeout has not been reached (see Configuring user security settings).

By default, if you have not actively viewed data for 1440 minutes (24 hours), your user session expires and you are automatically logged out the next time you attempt to change the view (see Configuring user security settings).

Before a user session is about to expire, a popup is displayed that allows you to extend the session.
